Peter Sjoquist AM, CEO
Peter has been in the television, film and live event industry for 40 years. He was involved with the production of the Royal Charity Concert for the Queen, Crocodile Dundee, Ferngully: the Last Rainforest, The Phantom (1996) and the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. Peter has also co-produced entertainment at AFL, Rugby League and Rugby Union events, produced television specials for John Farnham, Boy George, Cliff Richard, Mick Jagger and Bob Dylan. Since 1988 Peter has been the force behind the highly successful Rock Eisteddfod Challenge and in 1998 created its sister event, Croc Festival. In 2004, JRock was launched in Australia for primary schools and the Rock Eisteddfod Challenge concept is now staged internationally with some 100,000 students performing on stage globally each year. In 2007, he worked closely with Peter Faiman and the team to develop what would become SkillsOne Television and the Webby Award winning www.skillsone.com.au. He later successfully brought the UK Teachers TV concept to Australia: www.teacherstv.com.au. Peter Faiman is a well known, highly experienced producer, director and creative leader. He has created, produced and directed thousands of hours of award winning and critically acclaimed television in Australia, the UK and the US. At the Nine Network Peter produced and directed programs such as The Paul Hogan Show, The Don Lane Show, Australia Live, The Logie Awards, Brisbane’s World Expo, the Opening of the Sydney Entertainment Centre, Elton John, Neil Diamond, Frank Sinatra, Dire Straits, and Command performances for the Queen and Prince and Princess of Wales. He was the television consultant to both former Prime Ministers Malcolm Fraser and Bob Hawke. Peter’s film credits include directing the block-buster features Crocodile Dundee and Dutch and executive producing the animated feature FernGully: The Last Rainforest. He worked for Rupert Murdoch on the launch of SKY Television (BSkyB), was EP of Fox Network’s Emmy Award winning news magazine program The Reporters and Fox’s syndicated hit A Current Affair, and has co-created, produced and directed series for both Discovery and National Geographic Networks. Peter guided the creation and launch of Fox’s US cable network FX and the establishment of its innovative live studio complex in New York City which produced the critically acclaimed Fox After Breakfast. He was Co-Executive Producer of the BBC’s international 28 hour telecast 2000 Today and directed the television broadcast of the Opening and Closing ceremonies of Sydney’s 2000 Olympic Games. He has more recently consulted to the ABC and Nine Networks. He is the creative consultant for the Webby Award winning SkillsOne Television and skillsone.com.au.

Steve Gray is vhyper's business development partner. Steve, and his firm Hopedell, has over 25 years experience in marketing and communications in both Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Consumer (B2C) Marketing. He was Managing Director of Batey Kazoo (now part of WPP) for 13 years, and opened and was Managing Director of MOJO in Melbourne. He ran the Market Australia programs for DEFAT across China, South Korea, Vietnam, Indonesia and India from 1993 - 1996. Prior to joining the advertising industry he was Marketing Manager at Wella Australia. Steve's continual innovation and outcome-focused communication strategies have fostered many long term client relationships across many industries. He has extensive experience in strategic planning, creative development, digital communications, technology development and innovation. | Kathryn Franco, Head of Digital Media
Kathryn is an internet and integrated media specialist with over 15 years experience. Her early career in film and television includes working at Kennedy Miller on Babe: The Pig, documentary 40,000 Years of Dreaming: A Century of Cinema, childrens program "Astronauts Atlas" and programs in development for Directors Dr George Miller and Chris Noonan. For almost four years she was a Researcher/ Producer for the Nine Network’s flagship public affairs program, Sunday and researched/produced Peter Thompson’s Film Review. She production managed for Sunday, Business Sunday and The Small Business Show at various times and facilitated the establishment of Internet access on station in 1996. Kathryn was then asked to become a founding producer of the MSN Australia and Publishing & Broadcasting joint venture ninemsn where she helped build the successful media network during a successful three years. Following this she was founding Executive Site Producer of the David Jones Online Store placing 3,000 products online in four months with a team from Saatchi and David Jones. Her experience led to creating solutions for The Commonwealth Bank and NSW Department of Education, The Centre for Volunteering and others. She is the co-founder of broadcast and post-production technology distributor Eureka Pacific and lifestyle company, Eureka Brands. In late 2006 she began working with The Australian Channel on a number of projects including Teachers TV Australia and formulating the integrated TV/web strategy and tapeless digital workflow for SkillsOne, leading the digital media department to turn weekly television programming into easy-to-use web content. Kathryn has a first class honours degree in Fine Arts from the University of Sydney, a Masters of Business Administration from the Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM) and recently accepted the 2008 Webby Award for SkillsOne.com.au. |
| | Andrew Rovenko, Lead Developer Andrew Rovenko is the lead developer working across several platform developments to deliver vhyper and a founding member of our team. Prior to joining us he was the program manager and lead developer at Netventures where he was responsible for multi-media aggregation solutions to deliver BigPond TV, a lead developer and programmer for several technology companies in the Ukraine and an IT engineer. Andrew built the Webby Award winning SkillsOne.com.au video sharing site which beat the field of some 10,000 entrants. He has a Bachelors degree and a Masters degree in Applied Mathematics and specializes in open source technology. |

Andrew has six years of professional experience creating integrations for production technology and high-performance, high bandwidth video and web environments. He is the founder of ASE IT, an integration and support company specialising in digital and business clients with specialist high-end storage, SAN, connectivity and networking demands. | Lucy Nash, Production Manager
Lucy is an experienced production manager and presenter. She has a highly developed sense of detail required to manage the complex and voluminous content we produce from brief, to research to production scheduling and encoding. In addition, she often presents, reports and interviews for stories. Lucy is a founding member of the Webby Award winning SkillsOne. She was also the Television Production Manager for Global Rock Challenge TV in 2008 and Teachers TV Australia. Lucy has a background and degree in law and trained as a presenter at NIDA. |
